Jan Pickering, Owner

Jan was born and raised in Scotland. Helping care for elderly grandparents, Jan has gained experience with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Strokes. Jan’s business career includes 33 years of customer service, including running a successful real estate business for over a decade. Touching Hearts at Home is a natural fit for Jan’s background. She says, “I am excited to have the opportunity to care for people and build a business with heart and compassion."

Bri Christopher, Office Supervisor

Bri is a Military Brat born in Michigan while her family was stationed at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Both of Bri’s grand mothers were caregivers who worked with the elderly and her mother was a School Nurse here in Phoenix. For over 8 years Bri has provided care for adults and children who have special needs. Caring, Compassionate, and Creative best describe her. She says “I look to improve the world around me by caring for those who need a helping hand.”

DeAnn Click, Assessments/Caregiver

DeAnn was born and raised in South Dakota and has lived in 5 other states prior to making Arizona her home. In 2012, she left the corporate world after her family received the benefits of in-home caregiving for her mother. DeAnn's care and compassion was recognized in 2016 winning "National Caregiver of the Year" award in Colorado. "Working with the elderly feeds my heart and soul. I look forward to being a part of the Arizona Touching Hearts at Home family!"

Mary Kaye Henline, Assessments/Care Coordinator

Mary Kaye grew up in Southern California and discovered at a very early age that she was meant to be a caregiver. She has always been passionate in caring for both the very young and old. Not growing up with grandparents of her own, she has always had an appreciation and fondness for spending time with seniors. Over the years she has had vast training and experience as a nurses aid, and a caregiver, as well as manager and owner of an assisted living group home here in Arizona.
